Primers are everything!
And, specially for me, illuminating and glow-inducing primers are my life!
Even though I'm acne-prone, I still prefer a luminizing primer over a mattifying or silicone one EVERY DAY!

Here is my current team!
First we're going through my shimmery primers - which aren't really primers; they're more like liquid luminizers that you can (and I do) use as a base.

First we have the Thank You Farmer CC Cream* which is the less shimmery one. It has a peachy hue with a pink shift. It's absolutely LOVELY under foundation (but also highly fragranced, which is the only issue I have with it). Super creamy as well so not sure if it's be great for very oily skin types.

Then the Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow is a very lightweight and liquid formula with a very subtle shimmer. Beautiful and would be more suitable for oily skin types than the one before (and actually all of them as it's the lighter one in texture).

The Pixi Beauty Flawless Beauty Primer is a good old one. It has a slight tint to it so you have to work it in if you're really pale. It also has a very subtle sheen, barely any shimmer. Yet it's very creamy as well - which my skin loves.

Finally, the actual liquid highlighter almost, Becca's Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal which is pretty bronze-y so I usually reach for this during the Summer when I have a tan on. Or in case my body is darker than my body, which also happens in the Summer ahah
Creamy yet lightweight. But this is sooo shimmery, I don't think very oily skin types would enjoy all the shine.

And in the second row, we have more subtle actual primers. So they're not as shimmery, sometimes a bit sheeny but mostly they're just dew-inducing!

heimish's Artless Glow Base* is the most subtle one. It's almost like a moisturising lotion that leaves a beautiful dewy base for you to set your foundation on.

The MAC Strobe Cream in Pink Lite* is very similar in texture to the previous one, except it has an intense pink shift that is duochrome-ish. Very cute!

Moving to Lottie London's BAE Illuminating Primer*, which is a lightweight version of the heimish one, but has a slight sheen added to it. The pink quickly disappears though so not to worry if you have warmer undertones.

And ending up with Becca's First Light Priming Filter is a very lightweight sheeny formula with a lilac undertone and pearly base. It looks very beautiful under foundation for a super glowy look. BEAUTIFUL! But I'd still rather apply this on selected areas while having something else creamier as a base because my skin is always uncomfortably tight and dehydrated!

And that is the run down of my team. You obviously don't need all of them, but you can take a pick at one or two from this team and your glow will be set for life!

Specially for Summer glowy looks, I could not recommend an illuminating primer more!

Do you own any of these? And what is your favourite primer??
