TAAJ Purifying Micellar Water

This is one of those products who caused a big boom in the UK when its travel size came on one Birchbox edition! Many bloggers even dare to say it's better than Sensibio H2O by BIODERMA and, for that reason, I just had to get me som'a'that!

This micellar water is an anti-oxidant and tonic make-up remover. It particularly suits to sensitive skin types and eye contour area thaks to its soothing and calming properties. It soflty cleans and tones up your face. As a result, skin is detoxified, luminous and complexion is revitalized.

So let's start by crossing the t's and dotting the i's! This micellar water is described as 'soothing and calming' in spite of having 'purifying' on the title! Now I don't find it soothing or calming, but I do find it purifying! So I don't think it's even possible to compare it directly to Sensibio. I don't even recommend it for very dehydrated or dry skin types!
Having said that, this water is amazing! It should actually be compared to BIODERMA's Sébium H2O and it (very respectably) kick its ass! In a single kick!! It smells deliciously well: a very fresh and... Himalayan scent! It removes all traces of makeup, even waterproof - however, I just can't use it on my eyes! It stings like heeeell! It's not the least bit gentle... My eyes are sensitive, but I can't even begin to imagine a level of numbness/non-sensitiveness where this won't sting!
But when we use it on the rest of our face, the skin is left purified and really fresh! And without the tiniest little bit of makeup. However, in the long haul, I think that it's not suited for sensitized, very sensitive or dry skin!

Rating: 4 / 5

Summing up, I love it! I recommend it for oily, normal and combination skintypes that aren't dehydrated. But I won't repurchase it because my skin is super sensitive and very prone to dehydration.

Had you heard of the brand TAAJ? Did I spike your interest in this micellar solution? And what is your favourite?
