As you must know by my hair... This post is old! It's actually been on draft since June I think (oh I'm such a bad blogger).
Anyway, here we go... If you haven't seen the other lip edits I've published, check out The Spring Pastel Lip Edit and The Red Lip Edit.

MAC's Candy Yum Yum (1) is a matte lipstick. Its shade is a cold and blue-toned neon pink (I mean, really neon, the photo doesn't quite translate it but it's NEON). It's comfortable on the lip and not too drying, also easy to apply. It may need a bit more care throughout the day though so it doesn't go patchy since it is super opaque.

Kat Von D's Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in A-Go-Go (2) is a unique bright orange that is suuuuuper matte! It's a creamy liquid lipstick that dries a kind of powdery matte actually. It's a bit drying but nothing over the top and it has legit staying power.

Maybelline's Color Sensational Lipstick in Lavender Voltage (3) is a limited edition, I believe. It is compared in shade to MAC's Heroine, but super creamy and not opaque. It's actually a bit sheer but you can build it up to the shade on the photo. It's not long lasting at all though and needs loads of retouching.

Too Faced's Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Violet (4) is the truest shade of violet ever seen. A bit more bright than what shows up in photo. It's super comfortable and creamy but still long lasting - love the formulation!

Clinique's Pop Lip Colour + Primer in Poppy (5) is a beautiful, adorable poppy shade - a bit of a pale pink-red in my opinion - in a very comfortable and creamy texture. Opaque enough to be bright but creamy enough not to colour block your lips.

Revlon's Colorburst Matte Balm in Unapologetic (6) is a bright reddish coral that tastes minty. It's matte but not extremely matte, super comfortable and long lasting enough.

Sleek's True Colour Lipstick in Mystic (7) is similar to Melted Violet, but matter and a bit more pinky. Comfortable, opaque, bright and long lasting - plus it's budget-friendly! The texture is kind of like Candy Yum Yum's.

Topshop's Lip Stick in Hedonist (8) is a deeper orange than the Kat Von D's. But it is still a bright and matte orange option (though a bit less matte too). It's super comfortable and long lasting. It does also take a bit of care during the day for it not to go patchy, but is pretty much okay otherwise. (I don't think they sell this shade anymore, please let me know in the comments if you find it.)

So those are my picks for bright lip colours. Do you have any of these?
